How to use
  1. Upload your logo — extraction is automatic. Adjust the Colors slider if needed.
  2. Toggle Ignore near‑white to avoid white backgrounds dominating the palette.
  3. Leave Boost saturated colors on to better capture strong reds and blues.
  4. Click any swatch to copy its HEX. Use Copy CSS variables for quick theming.
  5. We also compute a contrast‑safe foreground (black/white) for each swatch.

FAQs — brand color palette from a logo

Why do some tools miss obvious red or blue from my logo?
Many extractors over‑weight large light areas (like white backgrounds) or sample too sparsely. This tool down‑scales intelligently, filters near‑white by default, and gives a small nudge to saturated pixels so strong brand hues aren’t ignored.

What file type works best?
Transparent PNGs or crisp JPGs are perfect. Vector SVGs also work when they embed raster previews; if your SVG shows up blank, export a small PNG (1000px wide is plenty) and try again.

How accurate are the HEX values?
We compute cluster centers from real pixels, then round to nearest displayable HEX. For logos with gradients or tiny accents, increase the color count to 9–12 to catch smaller details.

Can I get accessible text colors for each swatch?
Yes. We pick black or white based on relative luminance and show the WCAG contrast ratio so you can decide what’s readable for UI or body text.

Is there a limit on image size?
For speed, images are resized to a safe working area (longest side ≈ 900px) before analysis. This preserves color fidelity while keeping everything instant.

Will this change my original image?
Never. The image is processed locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded to a server.

*SVG note: some SVGs don’t include a bitmap — export a PNG if the preview is empty.
