Upload or drag & drop an image, then hover and click to sample colors, generate palettes, and export your findings.
How to Use This Tool
- Upload Your Image: Drag a file into the dropzone or use the "Upload Image" button.
- Paste a Screenshot: To sample a color from another website, take a screenshot (Windows: Win+Shift+S or PrtScn / Mac: Cmd+Ctrl+Shift+4), then paste it here with the "Paste" button or Ctrl+V.
- Explore with the Lens: A magnified lens follows your cursor for precise inspection. (Desktop only)
- Click to Sample: Click or tap anywhere on the image to lock the color values in the sidebar.
- Adjust Controls: Fine-tune the lens zoom, sample area (1x1, 3x3, etc.), and toggle the grid.
- Generate Palettes: Use the "Balanced", "Distinct", or "Vibrant" modes to auto-extract a palette.
- Copy & Export: Click any color value to copy it. Export your generated palette in various formats.
- Use the Eyedropper: The "Pick from Screen" button uses your browser's built-in eyedropper for sampling colors anywhere on your screen.
- Keyboard Shortcuts: Press Spacebar to freeze/unfreeze the lens. Use Arrow Keys while frozen to nudge the selection by 1px.
Everything runs locally in your browser — no image data is ever uploaded to a server.
